In a tragic turn of events, an elderly woman lost her life following an alleged attack at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital in New South Wales. The victim, an 80-year-old woman, was reportedly choked and had her head bashed against a wall in the hospital’s emergency department by a 27-year-old man identified as Richard Po Lim.

Richard Po Lim faced serious charges including causing grievous bodily harm, intentionally choking a person, and assault. He appeared in Burwood Local Court to address these charges as the investigation proceeded.
