A man carrying an axe has been successfully detained by the Queensland Police Service following an incident at the Crime and Corruption Commission headquarters in Brisbane. The police responded to reports of an armed individual in the car park of a building on St Pauls Terrace at 4.20pm on Tuesday. The man voluntarily surrendered to the officers in Fortitude Valley, leading to his arrest. A small tomahawk was discovered in his bag during the process, but fortunately, no injuries were sustained during the event. Investigations are currently ongoing as authorities delve deeper into the situation to ensure the safety and security of all involved.
