A teenage boy has been arrested after sharing digitally manipulated explicit images of female students from Bacchus Marsh Grammar, located near Melbourne. The images, generated using artificial intelligence technology, were distributed on social media platforms, affecting up to 50 students in Year 9 to 12. The Victorian Premier, Jacinta Allan, condemned the incident as disgraceful and misogynistic, stressing the need for respect towards women and girls.

The school principal, Andrew Neal, described the situation as “appalling” and stated that the school is cooperating with authorities to remove the images and identify the perpetrator. Both the school and the police are taking the matter seriously and providing support to the affected students and their families. Police investigations are ongoing to address the issue and ensure those responsible are held accountable for their actions.
